Hello! my name is Emily in real life ... but I am not emily osment, I'm from Canada and the girl before me has used this gift, since we are friends on facebook ... well I love emily osment and I love her music I hope someday to be a singer or actress to meet her, I have seen many singers or actors and actresses as happened in Los Angeles, as Vanessa Hudgens, Brad Pitt, Mandy Moore and others ... my father took us there because they had a reunion with his chief of work ... Emily Jordan Osment was born in Los Angeles on March 10th, 1992. She is the younger sister of The Sixth Sense star, Haley Joel Osment, who has is considered to be one of the greatest child actors ever. Her father is also an actor of some renown. Following in their footsteps, Emily started her acting career per ing in several commercials, including a radio spot with Dick Van Dyke, before making her film debut in "The Secret Life of Girls." The same year she landed a role in the Hallmark film, "Sarah, Plain and Tall: Winter's End," as the daughter of Glenn Close and Christopher Walken. That role led to a nomination for Best Young Actor.

After that Emily played several smaller roles for television, which include, "3rd Rock from the Sun," "Touched by an Angel," and "Friends." During this time she also did voice acting alongside her brother and John Cleese, Catherine O'Hara, and Harry Shearer in the short animated-film, "Edwurd Fudwupper Fibbed Big."

Finally, Emily landed the much sought after role of Gerti Giggles in, "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams." Writer/Director Robert Rodriguez was so impressed by her audition that he made the role longer without even knowing that she was the sister of Haley Joel Osment. She then appeared in the sequel, "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over."

She is now appearing as a regular on the hit Disney Channel show, "Hannah Montana," in which she plays the hyperactive, Lily Truscott, alongside co-stars Miley Cyrus and Mitchell Musso.

2006-2008: Soundtracks
In late 2006, Emily gave her voice in the animated film Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Did not Happen and she sang in "One Day" and "Do not You Just Love Christmas."

Emily sings the chorus of Billy Ray Cyrus song "You've Got a Friend" from their 2007 album Home at Last. Osment has also recorded a song titled "I Do not Think About It" by The Haunting Hour: Do not Think About It, for which there was a music video. The video was released in the Haunting Hour DVD and premiered on Cartoon Network.

Osment also recorded a remake version of the song "If I Did not Have You" Mitchel Musso for DisneyMania 6, the song was produced by Bryan Todd. The two also filmed a music video for her new release. In addition, Osment has also recorded a song, released in 2008, with The Disney Channel Circle of Stars. Osment recorded a remake of "Once Upon a Dream" for the release of Sleeping Beauty Platinum Edition 50. The song aired on Disney Channel on September 12, 2008. Osment also recorded a song called "Hero in Me" by Disney Channel, Dadnapped. He also filmed a music video to accompany it. The song also appeared on the Disney compilation album of Disney Channel Playlist, released on June 9, 2009.

[Edit] 2009-present: All the Right Wrongs and Fight or Flight
 
Emily in concert, July 2010De according to an audio interview with Osment backstage at the Grammys in 2008, she is writing and recording tracks with Eve 6. In an interview with Half Blue Taft in 2008, Osment said she was working on their EP All the Right Wrongs, though the sound would be completely different from the Disney pop. For the September 18, 2009, Osment wrote the songs that appear on this EP on their official website Twitter. The EP was released by Wind-up Records on October 27, 2009. Osment is set to write most of the songs on the album, with the new track All The Way Up, which premiered on Radio Disney in August 2009.

Osment describes his music as "definitely pop, but with an air of alternative rock." In December 2009, Osment announced plans to begin work on their debut album, after the promotion ended All the Right Wrongs, has collaborated on songs with Tom Higgenson, Max Collins, Tony Fagenson, Toby Gad and Mandi Perkins.

March 24, Osment on Good Day NY confirmed that their debut album was set to be released late summer. The first single, "Let's Be Friends" from their debut album was released in JSYK.com the June 7, 2010. The Fight or Flight debut album was released on October 5, 2010. On September 7 released the second single "Lovesick" and received positive reviews. Emily was presented at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 on 7 November in Madrid, Spain, presented the award to Justin Bieber for best male artist.Osment signed a deal to appear in a national campaign called "Smart Girls Rock"for the brand based in New York, Star Vanilla. "It's a new line for girls, denim clothes are really very feminine with a touch of punk. " She promoted her song "I Do not Think About It" with the launch of the campaign and the commercial. Later that summer, Disney launched a clothing line of Hannah Montana, which helped design. Emily's image was used in some of these pieces, and other Hannah Montana, like dolls and DVDs.
